Day 4: Swiss playgrounds are awesome. #30and3in2015 (at Cran Montana, Switzerland)
From last night’s birthday celebrations. He said, “But we have to have cake! I always have cake on my birthday.” A mini tart met his expectations. #30and3in2015 #birthdayboy #guilttrip (at Cran Montana, Switzerland)
Day 3: Broc. Maison Cailler Chocolate Factory. I was trying to take a picture but with all the chocolate he had during the tour, he wouldn’t stay still #30and3in2015 #birthdayboy (at CAILLER Chocolate Factory, Broc; Switzerland)
Day 3: Broc. The Maison Cailler Chocolate Factory tour was incredibly well done. And a ton of free chocolate samples! Too bad most of them had hazelnuts (I’m allergic to them). #30and3in2015 (at CAILLER Chocolate Factory, Broc; Switzerland)
Day 3: Gruyeres. Beautiful hand painted walls at the Chateau de Gruyeres #30and3in2015 (at Château de Gruyères)

Day 3: Gruyeres. Walking along the exterior of the Chateau de Gruyeres. #30and3in2015 (at Château de Gruyères)
Day 3: Gruyeres. View from the Chateau de Gruyeres. On his third birthday, Nolan visited a castle! (at Château de Gruyères)
It’s May 19 here in Switzerland which means today, Nolan is 3! From 2 to 3, it has been amazing to see how much his mind has developed. His verbal capacity impresses me everyday, he is a great problem solver, and being fully potty trained (even at night) has been a real game changer that has made this trip so much easier. Happy birthday to my big kid! (at Cran Montana, Switzerland)
